Itinerary

San Cristóbal boardwalk

Day 1: Stroll the boardwalk on San Cristobal Island · Eat fresh seafood

Arrive by plane to San Cristóbal. Fresh seafood lunch, first Spanish class in the afternoon, and an evening stroll along the boardwalk.

La Lobería – sea lions & marine iguanas

Day 2: Snorkel at La Lobería · Spot sea lions & marine iguanas

Breakfast & morning Spanish, lunch, then snorkeling the turquoise waters of La Lobería. Evening walk and dinner.

Surf lessons / beaches

Day 3: Take surfing lessons · Lounge about the beach

Spanish in the morning, lunch, then private surf at Puerto Chino or beach time around San Cristóbal. Sea lions on the boardwalk by night.

San Cristóbal Highlands

Day 4: Visit San Cristobal Highlands · Learn about conservation

Breakfast & Spanish, lunch, then the highlands for native plants, scenery, and conservation culture. Pack for tomorrow’s transfer.

Ferry to Santa Cruz

Day 5: Ferry to Santa Cruz Island · Spot dolphins · Watch the sunset

Early ferry to Santa Cruz (watch for dolphins). Lunch, afternoon Spanish, and free time for sunset vibes.

Charles Darwin Research Station

Day 6: Visit Charles Darwin Research Station · Watch Giant Tortoises

Spanish in the morning, lunch, then the Research Station’s museum and tortoise enclosures. Evening on the Puerto Ayora boardwalk.

Tortuga Bay

Day 7: Visit Tortuga Bay · Spot sea turtles · Discover local flora

Spanish + lunch, then trek to the powder sands of Tortuga Bay. Marine iguanas, birds, yellow cacti—enjoy by hired canoe.

Santa Cruz lava tunnels

Day 8: Visit extinct Santa Cruz volcano · Watch for wild Giant Tortoises

Spanish & lunch, then lava tunnels, cone fields, ocean views—and likely wild tortoises. Dinner back in Puerto Ayora.

Garrapatero Beach by kayak

Day 9: Discover Garrapatero Beach · Explore the sea by kayak

Spanish, lunch, then a full afternoon at Garrapatero Beach—swimming and kayaking. Chill evening.

Boat to Isabela Island

Day 10: Morning Spanish classes · Boat ride to Isabela Island · Take time out

Breakfast, Spanish, lunch, then boat to Isabela—the archipelago’s largest island. Free afternoon to explore and settle in.

Muro de las Lágrimas

Day 11: Visit Muro de las Lágrimas penal colony · Enjoy incredible views

Spanish & lunch, then learn the islands’ darker chapter at the Muro de las Lágrimas. Climb for sweeping views and reflection.

Snorkeling in Isabela

Day 12: Snorkel · Look out for sea turtles · Enjoy Puerto Villamil beach

Snorkel among colorful fish; maybe reef sharks and sea turtles. Lunch, then slow time at Puerto Villamil beach.

Sierra Negra volcano

Day 13: Hike to active Sierra Negra volcano · Discover native flora

Breakfast, then hike to the active Sierra Negra and its vast caldera. Dinner and downtime back in town.

Return to Santa Cruz

Day 14: Boat ride to Santa Cruz Island · Relax, shop, and explore

Early transfer to Santa Cruz for breakfast in Puerto Ayora. Free time to explore this bustling hub—shops, cafés, and strolls.

Departure day – Baltra Airport

Day 15: Have breakfast · Catch your flight to mainland

Breakfast, then transfer to Baltra Airport for flights to the mainland. ¡Hasta luego, Galápagos!
